MESIT was visited by a delegation from Ethiopia with the Defence Minister of Ethiopia at its head
On Friday 16 May 2025, MESIT welcomed a very special visitor - a delegation from Ethiopia led by Minister of Defence Aisha Mohammed Mussa. The visit was part of a wider mission during which the Ethiopian representatives were introduced to the Czech defence and aerospace industry.
The delegation had the opportunity to learn in detail about the development and production of tactical communication systems, headsets and engineering services, which are a crucial part of MESIT's portfolio.
Ethiopia is one of the long-term satisfied users of the L410 NG aircraft produced by our sister company Aircraft Industries and the L-39 SKYFOX aircraft from AERO Vodochody, a company that is also part of the OMNIPOL Group. It is these models, to which MESIT supplies its technology and instruments, that were highlighted by Minister Mohammed Mussa.
We are honored that the Minister made time in her busy schedule to visit our company. During her mission in the Czech Republic, the Ethiopian Minister of Defence also met with the Czech Minister of Defence, Jana Černochová.
