When MESIT is mentioned, most people primarily think of avionics and communication technology. And rightly so – that is exactly where the company has its roots and where its top-notch know-how lies. A less well-known but equally important part of the group is the engineering company MESIT machinery (a member of the OMNIPOL Group), which specialises in the production of precision mechanical parts.

Aluminium castings, CNC machining and metal surface treatments

In Uherské Hradiště, thin-walled and complex aluminium castings are produced using the lost wax method. These are then CNC machined and protected with electroplated coatings. The production takes place in modern automated workplaces. Here, milling, turning, and grinding are carried out to aerospace quality. The orders also include complete surface protection of metals – from anodising to nickel plating, silver plating, and coating.

Innovation in the foundry

The quality of aviation and defence products requires constant development. MESIT machinery is therefore investing in new technologies. One of the latest projects is a robotic workstation for controlled solidification of castings. This improves the mechanical properties of the products while also reducing the defect rate.

Manufacturing from design to inspection

The process starts with a 3D model and casting simulation in Magmasoft software. Then, a wax model is produced and a ceramic mould is created. Next, we move on to the actual casting process. Each part is then carefully inspected, including non-destructive testing and X-ray analysis.

Custom CNC machining

Aside from foundry work, the company also offers custom CNC machining of small and medium series. Thanks to the new robotic workstations, we can achieve high precision and repeatability even for technologically demanding parts.

Surface treatment of metals

The company offers a wide range of electroplating treatments. Anodising, electroless nickel plating, tin plating, copper plating or coating – each type has specific properties, ranging from increased conductivity to higher corrosion resistance. The best technology for a customer is always based on their specific needs.

Partner for challenging projects

MESIT machinery products are used in many fields, including aviation, defence, electrical engineering, optics, transport, healthcare, and telecommunications. Thanks to the combination of foundry work, machining, and surface treatments, the company can offer comprehensive solutions and become a reliable partner, even for the most demanding projects.
