MESIT Received Prestigious Company of the Year 2025 Award in Aerospace Technology
This recognition confirms our role as a reliable technological partner for the development and production of the most demanding aerospace systems. The award was accepted by company president Michal Hon at the annual meeting of the Editorial Board of magazine Review for the Defence and Security Industry, held on 20th January 2026. The award was presented by MS Line Publishing House.
The key reason for granting the award was successful certification of the ECU 2133 control unit by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), classified under Safety Category B. The ECU 2133 unit controls the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), which is an integral component of most large aircraft as well as selected helicopter types. The APU generates electrical power for onboard systems and, in helicopters, is often also used to start the main engine. The ECU 2133 provides comprehensive APU control – from safe start-up, through controlled fuel supply and temperature monitoring, to speed regulation.
The award primarily recognizes the expertise of MESIT’s R&D team and is the result of their long-term, systematic work in the development of aviation electronics that meets the most stringent international standards.
MESIT has consistently demonstrated capability to design and deliver key aircraft systems – not only control units, but also fuel measurement systems, flight control and actuation systems, and other safety-critical aerospace applications.
